It is our great pleasure to introduce An Evening with Marco Pierre White who will be in-conversation with Michael Caines, as our host for the evening.
In the after-dinner conversation esteemed chef, Marco Pierre White will share tales from his extensive career with Michael and take questions from the floor.
Michael and his team have developed a fabulous gala dinner menu inspired by Marco Pierre White using the best local produce to perfectly complement the exceptional flight of wines to accompany the menu.
Marco Pierre White is a leading chef and restaurateur and considered one of the most creative and talented people in food of his generation. Having trained some of the most influential chefs of modern-day, Marco became the youngest chef to claim three Michelin Stars and has cooked in some of the most prestigious restaurants country-wide. He is now one of the leading chef’s worldwide.
Having left education with no qualifications, Marco began his journey to become a professional chef – training in the kitchen of Harrogate’s St George Hotel. He then worked in the kitchens of the Box Tree, before beginning classical training with Albert Roux and Michel Roux at Le Gavroche. After classical training, Marco then became the Head Chef and Joint Owner of Harveys at just 24 years of age, with a team of chefs such a Gordon Ramsey, Heston Blumenthal and Thierry Busset under his management and claiming his third Michelin Star by 33.
Fast forward to today, and Marco has created his own empire of restaurants and eateries over the years, and is now located at The Rudloe Arms, which is set on 14 acres of land located near Bath. Marco has also authored White Heat 25, widely regarded as one of the most enduring classic cookbooks of our time, and other titles Marco Made Easy, Marco Pierre White in Hell’s Kitchen and Great British Feast.
The evening will commence at 6.00pm with canapés and an arrival drink, taking seats at 6.30pm in the Berry Head restaurant for an evening of delicious food and wine, with entertaining after-dinner conversation. Carriages at 11.30pm.
This special evening with Marco Pierre White is available as an Overnight Stay and Gala Dinner, for either a one or two night package. The Two Night package includes a 50% discount on the second night, on a Bed & Breakfast basis. The Gala dinner includes Champagne apéritifs, six course tasting menu and matching wine flight. Prices start from £1,386 per room (based on double occupancy).
