HIKES

A popular activity when visiting Devon is to explore the wonderful landscape which surrounds us. If hiking is on your agenda, we recommend spending a day walking the rugged moorlands of Dartmoor National Park. There are many routes in which you could take so plan your trip before setting off.

Of course, whilst visiting Lympstone Manor we would advise setting off along the stunning Jurassic Coast. Exmouth is the Western Gateway to the Jurassic Coast which is marked at Orcombe Point, continue this scenic route for a couple of miles and you’ll find yourself walking along the glorious Sandy Bay beach.

You can enjoy the use of our fleet of bicycles as part of your stay at Lympstone Manor Hotel. The bikes can be pre-booked for you to enjoy a day of exploring.
The Exe Estuary Trail is a cycle path that virtually passes through our grounds, linking Lympstone Manor with Exmouth to the south and Topsham to the north. The latter is a popular and historic town with a charter that dates back to 1300. Take one of the hotel bikes complimentary or hire from one of the local hubs.
