Wine Room and Cellar

The enjoyment and appreciation of fine wine is integral to the Lympstone Manor experience. Both Michael and Co-director Steve Edwards share a passion for wine and the creation of a world class cellar has been a long standing goal. Our cellar now has over 600 bins representing some of the finest wine estates from around the globe, including mature vintages from the great wine regions of Europe as well as wines from the New World. Our state-of-the-art Wine Emotion dispense system allows for the enjoyment and appreciation of 24 exceptional wines by the glass.

“The Wine Room is a special space for wine lovers to meet, learn, taste and enjoy.”

The Wine Room

Our Wine Room is adorned with six state of the art wine emotion units, each housing four bottles at optimum conditions allowing us to offer a unique and varied selection of wines by the glass. In addition we have three large Eurocave units which enable us to store our entire white wine at optimum temperature , in readiness for our guests experience in the restaurant.

Our Michael Caines Gourmet Experience allows you to enjoy a unique experience of a wine tasting tutorial with one of our Sommeliers in the wine room. This unique opportunity is exclusive to this experience and is a chance to learn from our passionate team first hand.

The Wine Cellar

Our 600 bins are stored in three  underground cellars in perfect temperature and conditions. The wine stock has been maturing and developing since the opening of Lympstone Manor which represents some of the finest wine estates from around the world, including mature vintages from the great wine regions of Europe as well as a comprehensive selection of wines from the New World. We have developed exceptional working relationships with some of this country’s very best merchants in order to purchase wines that are ready to be opened and served in the short term as well as securing wine stock allocation to be cellared in preparation for future listing.
