With such a huge amount of wines from across the globe imported into the United Kingdom many of them go unnoticed or are overlooked mostly because we are creatures of habit and tend to choose the same style of wine whether it’s for consumption at home or if we are dining out. With that in mind this dinner event will explore some wines styles that you are not likely to be familiar with and in this instance all are from Italy who are not only one of the worlds largest producers but also one of the largest consumers.

The dinner will be hosted in the Pool House Restaurant by Gennaro Effuso, growing up in Italy Gennaro was blessed to be part of a family that revered the simplest of produce as treasures for all. This upbringing sowed the seeds of his lifelong passion for natural viticulture, a journey that has taken him from the toil of farm life to the joy of the harvests that adorn our dining tables. His years in the hospitality sector have deepened his respect for viticulture and for him wine transcends its status as a mere product; it is a conduit for spiritual connection, a medium through which people are genuinely united. Today, he is able share this through managing Natural Growth Wine, a boutique wine import business established in 2020.

The evening will commence at 7.00pm with canapés and some fizz, taking seats at 7.30pm in the in the Pool House dining area for a fun evening of food and undiscovered wines.
