Yoga Teacher: Janet Kipling Bio

Janet was first introduced to yoga by her mother as a child living in Singapore, and regular practice has underpinned her life for more than 30 years. Despite a demanding career in BBC journalism, PR and communications, Janet continued to pursue deeper understanding of yoga. Her first teacher training was with Radiantly Alive Bali in 2007. Subsequently she undertook the Devon School of Yoga’s year-long yoga therapy qualification, and Caroline Klebl’s ashtanga yoga training in Jamaica. Janet spent winter seasons teaching in private villas and a studio in Antigua, West Indies, as well as classes based around Exeter. Deeply respectful of yoga’s origins, traditions and wisdom dating back thousands of years, Janet aims to create a warm and welcoming space that offers a self-care space away from our demanding present-day lives, and is energising, relaxing, and above all fun.
