English Wine Week is an annual celebration for a new and exciting industry that has emerged only in the past few decades. Indeed, though grapes were grown in England even under the Romans, wine production in England had virtually ceased and was only of minor interest and curiosity until recent times. Yet today England has emerged on the world wine scene as one its most exciting new wine regions. Indeed English wines are gaining international recognition and winning numerous accolades and awards.
We have long supported English Wine Week. This year’s tagline for English Wine Week is ‘create new traditions’ and we encourage you to try English wine including the award winning wines produced from grapes grown in the single-estate vineyard of Lympstone Manor.
During English Wine Week we are offering from Saturday 21st June through to Saturday 28th June a special English Wine Set Lunch Menu. The menu is a taste of summer in East Devon and the wine pairings not only match the foods beautifully, they are true reflections of the quality and variety of wines now being produced from grapes grown in England.
Experience an exceptional fine dining lunch with a complimentary glass of Lympstone Manor Estate Isabeau Rosé served as your aperitif.
