A Four course dinner with accompanying wines plus drinks on arrival, canapés, coffee and petit fours
Join us in the Pool House Restaurant for a special evening celebrating English Wine Week, showcasing the quality, character and growing reputation of wines produced here in the South West.
English wine has experienced an extraordinary rise in recent years, with vineyards across the country producing wines of remarkable precision, freshness and elegance. Benefiting from a cool climate and passionate winemakers, English vineyards are gaining international recognition for both still and sparkling wines that express the unique character of the landscape.
Michael and his team have created a four-course seasonal menu designed to celebrate the best of British ingredients, with each dish thoughtfully paired with a selection of English wines. The evening will showcase both Lympstone Manor Estate wines alongside wines from the award-winning Lyme Bay Winery, offering a wonderful opportunity to explore the diversity and quality of English winemaking.
The evening will be hosted by Clem Yates MW, Head Winemaker at Lyme Bay Winery and one of the UK’s few Masters of Wine. Clem will guide guests through the wines of the evening, sharing insights into English viticulture, winemaking and the exciting future of the country’s growing wine industry.
The evening will commence at 7.00pm with canapés and arrival fizz, before guests take their seats in the Pool House Restaurant to enjoy a relaxed and convivial celebration of English food and wine.
We look forward to welcoming you to Lympstone Manor for a memorable evening celebrating English Wine Week.
