Spinal Injuries Association
The Spinal Injuries Association is the expert voice and leading source of information and advice for people with spinal cord injury (SCI). For over 40 years, they’ve been supporting SCI people and representing the wider SCI community to government and other decision-makers. Their work in campaigning, education and support is based on the personal experiences of their members.
Their membership continues to grow and they represent more than 11,000 people, with more than 50% of their staff and 80% of their trustees living with SCI.
Their main belief is that everyone has a right to live a fulfilled life and that means the life they choose, a life that has the same opportunities as everyone else’s. These beliefs have informed the development of their strategic plan.
Lympstone Manor was delighted to support this worthy charity during the “Celebration of Speed” in 2019, raising £6,000 at the day event and gala dinner.
