“A passion for landscape”
The National Trust was founded in 1895 by three people who saw the importance of our nation’s heritage and open spaces and wanted to preserve them for everyone to enjoy. Coming up to 125 years later, the charity is still taking care of these special places. The national trust looks after coastline, forests, woods, fens, beaches, farmland, moorland, islands, archaeological remains, nature reserves, villages, historic houses, gardens, mills and pubs and one of the world’s largest art collections. The trusts, restores, protects and educates.
Lympstone Manor and the National Trust hold many of the same values, with their passion for the landscape, wildlife and preservation. Devon is home to some amazing National Trust properties and estates, with the closest A La Ronde just under 1 mile away.
In 2020, The National Trust will be our chosen charity for the months of July and August.
