Down’s Syndrome Association

“It was great to work with Damon Hill and his wife Georgie, raising money for such a worthwhile cause. I believe it is important to support and enable Down’s Syndrome children to thrive and excel.” Michael Caines MBE

Down’s Syndrome Association was created in the 1970’s, starting life at a local parent support group. The Association now has over 20,000 members, with only 36 part or full time staff. The main activities include providing support to families and support to 130 local charities, helping to educate about Down’s Syndrome and professional training.

The work the association and the charities supported by it, is invaluable to a lot of families from supporting new parents to offering training to individuals at all stages of their lives.

Down’s Syndrome Association was the charity of the month in March and April 2018, Lympstone Manor raised £1,238. Adding to the £15,000 raised for the charity in 2017.
