badgers sett is located at the southernmost point of the vineyard facing east with views sweeping across the vines looking up at the main house.
The light pours into the hut in the morning, with the sun rising behind the house.
Badgers Sett is inspired by its namesake decorated with warm hues of lilac purples and bronzed oranges, with a oriental style wallpaper and dark accents. The apartment-style living within the woodland has been achieved by bracing together two huts to create multiple rooms.
The bedroom features a king-size bed (5’0″ x 6’6″) with a skylight to look up at the stars above. The adjacent bathroom features a walk-in shower and all of the amenities you would expect to find in the hotel. There is a privacy screen available that separates the bedroom/bathroom from the open-plan kitchenette and lounge area.
Our kitchenettes have been equipped to enable you to prepare a light bite or to make yourself a cup of coffee or tea. Families can gather around the farmhouse style table for meals or maybe to play board games. The farmhouse table folds away to create a cleverly hidden double bed (4’6″ x 6’3”). The lounge area is the perfect snug corner to settle in front of the log fire or relax in front of the TV with the sofa converting to a small single bed for the little one in the family.
Badgers Sett has a decking area extending over the pond at the foot of the vineyard, with seating outside and an experiential outdoor tin bath tub and copper shower to enable you to immerse yourselves in the beauty of this tranquil spot interrupted only by the occasional rumbling by of the local train. Warm yourselves on starry nights by the outdoor fire pit, or settle in front of the log fire in the warmth of your Hut.
