Celebration of Devon Cheese Dinner with Mary Quicke
For those who are interested in high quality cheese and wine events, we are to host a dinner here at Lympstone Manor in our Pool House Restaurant with a menu using local cheese from Quicke’s dairy at Newton St. Cyres and the event will be hosted by the very lovely and extremely knowledgeable Mary Quicke. The cheese dishes have been paired with a selection of wines that cover a range of wine regions and wine styles.
There are very few dairy farms in the United Kingdom that have quite the history and culture for cheesemaking than Quicke’s dairy, Mary is the Managing Director of Quicke’s and the family have been working with their acreage of land in Devon since the middle of the 16th Century. Their clothbound Cheddar cheeses grace the trolleys of this country’s finest restaurants and are sold in some of the finest markets and stores you can find as well as servicing what is now a global demand for their exceptional produce.
The evening will commence at 7.00pm with canapés and a glass of fizz, taking seats at 7.30pm in the in the Pool House dining area for a fun evening of quality cheese and wine. We look forward to welcoming you to Lympstone Manor.
