Roaring into the Twenties

After a wonderful festive period, followed by a magical New Year celebration, we closed our doors for almost two weeks for our annual maintenance period. As has become a tradition here at the Manor, we fully close to ensure that guests aren’t disrupted by these essential works and so that when we reopen, we are constantly providing guests with the best possible experience.

The Manor provides a wonderful retreat for all, complete with splendid solitude which we all crave – especially with the stresses of modern life – and that is what we always aim to provide. By carrying out these works in early January, we ensure that guests can continue to enjoy these delights for the rest of the year, safe in the knowledge that their respite won’t be interrupted by the sound of a stray drill, rather than the sweet chirp of a happy sparrow.

While we are still finalising our full events schedule for 2020, we can confirm the return of Celebration of Speed, Wine Evenings (featuring varieties from Northern Italy, Southern Australia and the Languedoc region of France) as well as our first-ever vineyard Harvest Supper.

The first event of the year is Valentines Day, and we still have a few available places on our Riverside Romance package where guests can enjoy an intimate, overnight stay with their partner inclusive of either a bottle or a half-bottle of Champagne, handmade chocolates and a bouquet of roses with a personalised card – an ideal way to treat your loved one.

For all our current offers, please follow the link here, otherwise we are extremely looking forward to welcoming all our guests, both new and old, back to the Manor in 2020.
